• Prior to opening, prepare all displays/signage, and register for the day • Ensure daily that the store opens on time • Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner • Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products • Ensure compliance with the company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high-quality service • Participate in the implementation of company initiatives and strategies • Adhering to company guidelines and requirements ensuring efficiency and economy • Know where products are located in the store • Be able to differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast features • Answer all customer questions and address concerns • Ensure to educate customers about Freedom Policies including returns and Buyer’s remorse policy • Conduct yourself in a professional manner and make every effort to close the sale • Handle all transactions with accuracy • Ensure customers receive their receipts and items • Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience • Maintain the appearance of all displays, tidying and restocking as needed • Participate in inventorying, stocking, and ordering as needed • Close registers and check for accuracy at end of day and shift changes • Properly secure merchandise and follow closing procedures at the end of day • Achieving Established Targets • Making sure the store is cleaned and kept well at all times.

• Receiving, moving, checking, and storing incoming goods. • Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality. • Packaging and labeling products before they are dispatched. • Picking and packing products. • Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas. • Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day. • Loading and unloading Lorries, vans, and other vehicles. • Maintaining and servicing warehouse tools, machinery, and trucks. • Labeling goods that have arrived at the warehouse. • Operating a forklift, boom truck, and front-end loader. • Welcoming and helping clients who visit the branch. • Contacting transport companies and coordinating dispatch and delivery with them. • Preparing deliveries for the van drivers. • Moving and organizing stock. • Supervising the work of junior staff. • Ensuring a clean and safe workhouse for staff to work in. • Storing stock away safely. • Removing hazardous products from the warehouse. • Occasionally selling goods over the trade counter. • Signing off and replenishing stock. • Using Mechanical Handling Equipment i.e. forklift trucks to move goods around. • Monitoring stock levels. • Moving items through the warehouse from receipt to dispatch to customers. • Occasionally delivering stock to shops and retail outlets. • Accurately updating all data into a computer and manual recording systems.
